Apa Yang Bomba Cuba Buktikan?

KUALA LUMPUR: Anggota bomba yang sinonim dengan memadamkan kebakaran atau mengeluarkan mangsa tersepit dalam kemalangan terpaksa melakukan tugas menyelamat paling pelik, semalam.

Sepasukan anggota dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Pantai di sini dipanggil bagi membantu doktor memotong cincin besi keluli yang tersekat pada pangkal kemaluan seorang pesakit lelaki di Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM).

Doktor terpaksa menggunakan kemahiran anggota bomba bagi memotong cincin yang sukar dicabut itu selepas pelbagai usaha dilakukan tidak berjaya. <--- TIPU

Difahamkan, mangsa yang berusia awal 20-an sengaja menyarungkan cincin pada kemaluannya dipercayai bagi meningkatkan kekuatan seksual selain memberi kepuasan luar biasa kepada pasangannya

Pegawai Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Pantai, Sarjan Malek Neik, berkata pihaknya menerima panggilan kecemasan daripada kakitangan PPUM berhubung insiden pelik terbabit pada jam 12.43 tengah hari semalam.

Menurutnya, sebuah jentera dan enam anggota kemudian dikerah ke PPUM untuk misi membantu masalah terbabit yang disifatkan sukar dipercayai.

“Sebaik tiba, mereka dibawa ke bilik kecemasan sebelum dimaklumkan keadaan dihadapi ketika itu,” katanya ketika ditemui di sini, semalam.

Katanya, dia melihat beberapa doktor berusaha mengeluarkan cincin itu yang terlekat pada pangkal kemaluan pesakit berkenaan.

Doktor terbabit cuba memotong cincin berkenaan menggunakan peralatan pembedahan, termasuk pemotong besi tetapi gagal kerana ia terlalu keras.

Malek dan pasukannya terpaksa menunggu kira-kira 20 minit sementara doktor bertungkus-lumus menanggalkan cincin berkenaan.

“Cincin besi keluli itu terlalu keras dan semua alat pemotong yang dimiliki hospital tidak berkesan memotongnya.

“Pesakit itu pula dilihat mengerang kesakitan setiap kali kemaluannya disentuh dalam usaha menanggalkan cincin itu,” katanya. <---- TIPU

Selepas segala usaha menemui jalan buntu, doktor meminta bantuan kepakaran bomba bagi memotong cincin terbabit menggunakan pemotong besi yang sering dibawa dalam operasi menyelamat mangsa kemalangan atau kebakaran. <--- TIPU

“Keadaan kemaluan mangsa yang membengkak merumitkan usaha menanggalkan cincin itu. Malah, kedudukannya pada pangkal kemaluan menyukarkan untuk memotong,” katanya.

Sebagai langkah keselamatan, doktor meletakkan sebilah kayu sebagai pelapik untuk mengelakkan kecederaan serius kepada kemaluan mangsa ketika pemotongan dilakukan.

“Kami terpaksa menggunakan pemotong besi bagi memutuskan cincin berkenaan. Tugas berkenaan dilakukan dengan penuh berhati-hati sebelum cincin terbabit dapat dipotong dalam tempoh tak sampai seminit. <-- TIPU, ITU AKU YANG BUAT!!

“Anggota bomba yang terlatih dan cermat berjaya memotong cincin itu dengan hanya sekali percubaan,” katanya. <-- XDA KAITAN, TIPU

Menurutnya, kemaluan mangsa terlebih dulu dibius petugas PPUM bagi membolehkan tugas itu dilakukan dengan lancar.

“Tugas itu amat mencabar, namun saya berpuas hati kerana khidmat anggota bomba berjaya menyelamatkan nyawa lelaki berkenaan,” kata Malek yang menganggap kejadian seumpama itu amat jarang berlaku. <--- PINJAM BARANG AJE BROTHER! BUKAN HANGPA YANG BUAT PUN!!

Mengikut kepercayaan golongan tertentu, tindakan menyarung cincin besi dalam kemaluan dikatakan mampu menambah kekuatan seksual si pemakai walaupun mereka sanggup menanggung azab sengsara akibat kesan sampingannya.

Sebagai orang yang berada ditempat kejadian dan antara orang yang sama2 berusaha untuk mengeluarkan cincin itu, saya sama sekali tidak bersetuju dgn laporan yang dibuat oleh pihak bomba mahupun harian metro.

Sememangnya pihak hospital dari azali mempunyai masalah untuk memotong cincin yang tersekat. (bila ada kecederaan, kawasan itu akan bengkak dan pasti cincin menjadi ketat)

oleh kerana tiada barang kelengkapan memotong keluli, setelah 3 jam, akhirnya.. pihak hosp. meminta bantuan bomba untuk meminjam alatan.

Tolong la jaga maruah pesakit, jangan nak sensasikan cerita. tau la nak publisiti.. tapi bukan cara itu!

Sebab tu la public tak boleh ada dlm bilik bila medical staff sedang buat procedure.. nanti salah faham.. ni la jadinya kalau biarkan bomba dlm bilik rawatan! lain orang buat.. lain dia canang!

I didnt know him until i watch the national news! at 2am, RTM1 yesterday

One of the grand daughter called me at 10.30pm (Wednesday night) for cancellation.
"Uncle passed away la Benn" she said. ( Im suppost to visit him and check his health/progress and bla bla bla...)

Then, as usual, I offer any help to the family and promise to pay a last visit to the arwah (eventhough i never meet him before/know)

I used to know his grand daughter, Pn Fadzilah during my part time aeromedicine where I transfer very ill patient to Indonesia through Garuda Airways (where she works)

As usual, Im so sad because I cannot offer any help to late Arwah.

7am, i get back (since the visit cancelled), take a nap.. than 12pm visit his family with my wife at Bukit Tengku, SS1 Petaling Jaya.

Moga2 arwah dicucuri rahmat dan tergolong dikalangan orang2 yang beriman.

My 1st Experience On Tv =)

Life is getting better and better =)

Last time, there was a production company came to my emergency department with permission of Department of Corperate.

They wanna do a documentary reguarding a person who working on nite shift in emergency department. The best thing is, i've been chosen to represnt my department by my boss =) how big the responsibility is? we'll see.. hehhe

2am, ambulance call - car skidded @ travers. went to the site dengan cameraman ikut belakang record ape yg i buat.. (kita dah biasa wat keja) tapi kalau orang record keja kita ni rasa 'sengal' sket =) hehhe..

2.30am arrived at emergency department.. - treatment etc, smua dia record.. tapi part2 privacy i x kasi la dia.. xleh la.. nk? kena keja spital =) hehhe

after that, they all go back.. but they promise me, there will be another follow up. interview, etc..

2 days later they ask my schedule.. then, i told em' wednesday i on evening shift. then dia org dtg la..(mcm artist pulak dia org yg set apointmnt dgn i) hehhe

dia org dtg around 7.30pm, i baca soalan2 yg bakal disoal.. kemudian, go tru.. xnk hafal/baca text.. nanti kaku + x best =) pegi la discuss dgn boss.. ok x jwpn i smua.. dia kata ok..

interview pun dlm progress.. tetiba i kena pegi ambulance call, and once again, the cameraman pun ikut la.. tapi, kali ni i xplain ape dlm ambulance, procedure, management, etc.. (ddk facing back ni dah lama x wat... kepala dah pening sbnrnya.. nak muntah pun ada =) hehhhe tapi kontrol hensem + macho.. hehhe

then bila smpi department, treat patient..etc.. the crew ckp, boleh sambung ke?

i ckp.. boleh i rest kejap x.. kepala ade pening sikit.. kang jawap soalan ape ntah ngarut.. kang brape roll pulak korang pakai kang.. hehehe..

dia org pun kasi la i rest.. (dkt sini yg rasa mcm artist besar, leh pakse dia org rest lakk.. hehhe.. kalau stakat plakun tambahan dah lame kena lempang dgn director ;)

kemudiam, interview diteruskan.. sampai la 10pm.. kepala sgt2 pening + stress krn nk jawap soalan dia, orang ramai tgk, blakun dpn org, belajan sana sini.. (1st time mmg la segan tahap cipan =)

then, balik terus tidor.. kpla sgt2 la pening + x tahan + penat.. and i didnt tell any1 untill i wrote this blog inc. my gal .. sorry yer =)

the programme expctd to be on air around July 29, 2008. 12.30pm RTM 1 Tuesday.

I dont care about the payment.. but i really enjoy working with the crew and the director was so nice to me =) the best experience in my life.....

Courteous And Mercy On Accident Patient

Im not sure weather i should put this picture or not..

This guy came to the emergency department at 9pm. with history of motor vehicle accident 1 1/2 hour ago. NO ONE Respond or help him to the nearest hospital.

Patient suffers below knee amputation (potong kaki bawah lutut) because of the injury (muscle, tendon injury, etc and the delay progress itself.

He is young, family man with 1 son. How is he going to feed em' later?
you guys think.. dont because of geli darah here and there, takut, etc
If you dont help people.
think of their future and put urself in their shoes.

It is totally different with the western norm. Public help each other..

here are some useful tips to help people :

1. Wear appropriate protection before you hold the casualty ( protection of HIV virus) try not to contact patient with wounded hand ( tangan kalau luka, jgn gatal2 nak usik orang berdarah/cecair)

2. Try to counter act the bleeding with clean cloth @ the wound (tekan luka
berdarah dgn kain bersih)

3. If badly mechanism of injury, try not to move his neck or back as much as u can ( because you might make him paralyse (kalau cedera teruk; terbang; tercampak;etc please jgn gerakkan badan dia bnyk sgt terutama tulang belakang dan leher kerana akan sebabkan dia lumpuh

4. Tell the emergency officer about what happen during the accident, on board weather the patient was vomited, lost of conscious, etc.. ( bagi tau dkt staff emergency tentang ape yg berlaku dkt tmpt kejadian atau semasa dlm pejalanan seperti muntah2, pengsan, dsb.

With the tips given, i hope you can save patient ;)

38 Weeks Encounting!

Its now 10 out of 38 weeks

I'm so glad that finally she is about to leave the 1st trimester (1st 3 months of pregnancy)
eventho she is not having all those maternal sickness like nausea & vomiting, ngada2, etc.. ;)

Last Sunday, 5th July 08 I brought my wife to my emergency department for baby scan. I did it by myself ( what is husband used for?) hehhe.. slalu attend orang dkt bini sdri x boleh?? hehhe..

and I am so delighted to see the miracle in my life ;) Harap isteri sentiasa sihat sentiasa..

some information regarding the 10 weeks of fetus ;)

• Baby is now called a fetus in "medical terms". You, however, may have chosen the name "peanut," "angel," "jumping bean" or simply "miracle."
• The most critical part of your infant's development is complete. Now you are headed into a period of rapid growth.
• While a bit strange to envision, your baby's head is now about half its length - Soon the rest of the body's growth will catch up but this area is prepared to keep up with the rapid brain development!
• Eyelids fuse shut and irises begin to develop - Eye color is also determined by this point.
• Placenta begins to function this week or next - The placenta is the organ responsible for both the provision of nutrients along with the removal of waste to keep your baby growing strong!
• Your baby will be about 1.22 inch long (3.1cm) and weigh 0.14 ounce (4gm) at the end of this week

I cant wait to grow up my own child and taking care of the family ;)

European champions Spain lead world rankings

Newly crowned European champions Spain have climbed to the top of latest world rankings published by world soccer's governing body FIFA on Wednesday.

It is the first time since the introduction of the rankings in 1992 that Spain, who were rated fourth last month, have been listed as the world's best team. Germany, losers of Sunday's Euro 2008 final, climbed two places to third position behind Italy, who rose one spot despite going out of the tournament at the quarter-final stage.

The 2004 European champions Greece suffered an even bigger drop, from eighth to 18th, after losing the points gained from their shock title win and suffering a group stage exit from this year's event. Russia's surprise run to the semi-finals has seen them surge 13 places to 11th, their best ranking in more than ten years.

After failing even to qualify for the tournament, England dropped six places to 15th, their lowest position since 2001. ( hahhahha)

Receive a call.
Car accident at Federal Highway, near Guiness Anchor Beer factory.

Involving a few casualties. Ambulance dispatch and arrive within a few minutes (just nearby from the hosp)

bomba arrived 5 minutes earlier(as usual) - their job to pulled out victim from wreckage.

2pm, Emergency Dept. UMMC
Receive a phone call from National Emergency Hotline Service 999 - A trailer from Port Klang had accident and the driver stuck inside the wreckage.

10 minutes later, the ambulance team arrived. support team, Bomba & Penyelamat arrived 5 minutes earlier to carry out the patient. meanwhile, I sneak out and give O2 and IV drip to replace the fluid and prevent 'hypovolumic shock'. (sebenarnya x boleh masuk site, medical team should wait outside of the danger area and wait til the rescue team carry em' out) - the incident area looks safe for me to give 1st responder aid since the blood from forearm pouring out.

1.30hour later, Bomba & JPA manage to carry him out of the wreckage.
my full management at side.
On board, emergency dept inform departure from scene.
Patient fully conscious and looks in deep depress. Of course he knows what is going to happend with the hand.

patient sustained a crush injury at right hand and vascular problem.

send to ER, UMMC stabilize and send directly to operation theater (OT) for further management.

Poor Him.

Kesian Pesakitku...

Aku hampir2 menyaksikan kekuasaan Allah yg maha esa.
tat kala fikiranku masih di Cherating disulami dgn kenangan2 indah disana..

Setelah penat memandu 5jam terus di siang hari. Malamnya pula, giliranku bekerja.

seorang pesakit 70tahun, lelaki, melayu yang datang pada 5pagi
ditemani oleh ahli keluarganya. mengadu 'chest pain','upper limb numbness', nausea + vomiting, sakit perut nak buang air besar
(typical sign+symptom of acute miocardial Infarct - serangan jantung yg boleh membawa maut)

tanda vital tekanan darah didapati rendah. manakala bacaan ECG menunjukkan (ST elevation) -serangan jantung.

ubat-ubatan seperti Aspirin 300mg, GTN diberi untuk mengurangkan kesakitan dada.disertakan dgn Iv Morphine + iv maxalon diberi utk mengurangakn kesakitan dan menggalakan pesakit berehat + melawan kesan ubat morphine.

Sepatutnya pesakit diberikan ubat 'streptokinase' (ubat pemecah segala yg tersumbat di dalam saluran darah) untuk mengurangkan kesakitan + pelancaran darah.. malangnya tekanan darah pesakit terlalu rendah dan mengundang risiko besar sekiranya prosedur diteruskan..

ubat2 seperti dobutamine, dopamine, iv gelafundin diberi untuk meningkatkan semula tekanan darah tapi, malangnya tiada sebarang perubahan..

suasana terlalu sunyi ketika itu. cuma kedengaran pesakit mengucap 2 kalimah sya'adah perlahan2 (atas nasihat jururawat) sambil menahan kesakitan..

aku terlalu sedih melihat situasi itu dengan tidak dapat berbuat ape untuk melawan kuasa Allah.pendapat aku, pesakit ini akan meninggal dunia secara perlahan2 dan pasti akan merasai kesakitan bila nyawa dicabut..

tempat yg biasanya tidak boleh ahli keluarga masuk lebih2 lagi ketika aku membuat rawatan, dibenarkan masuk.

Ahli keluarga diberitahu yang pesakit sekarang terlalu tenat dan tapi tidak pasti bila dia akan pergi..
(aku tak pernah anggar hidup/mati seseorang, itu semua kuasa Allah)
aku nasihatkan kepada anak2+saudara supaya meminta maaf serta mengajar 'mengucap' kepada pesakit.

waktu untuk pulang, pesakit semakin tenat..
aku pun pulang kerumah..

malam berikutnya sewaktu bekerja, ku periksa buku catatan pesakit, 5minit selepas ku tinggalkan tempat kerja,
pesakit meninggal dunia

aku tidak pernah menghadapi situasi pesakit yg meninggal dunia secara perlahan2 begitu.. selalunya meninggal mengejut/terus

terlalu sedih, tapi ku simpan di dalam hati utk menjaga tingkahlaku profesional. tetapi didalam hati, sekuat2 mana manusia
tidak mungkin akan menahan ujian + kuasa Allah dan pastinya akan bersedih..

As for the match itself, if Chelsea had won after 90 minutes there couldn't have been any complaints, such was the strength of their second-half performance. They should have gone in three-nil down at half-time but rode their luck and will be very disappointed they didn't finish it in normal time.

But it went the distance, and in the end Drogba's stupidity proved decisive as it meant Terry got involved in the shoot-out. As much as you feel sorry for Terry, you have to wonder what he was doing taking a penalty. The only centre-half I have ever known that was any good at them is Steve Bruce.

It may be that the Chelsea skipper was after a little bit of personal glory or felt that he had a responsibility to take one, but a true leader also knows when to step back and let his team-mates have their turn.

It was reminiscent of David Batty in 1998 or Gareth Southgate at Euro '96. It's all very well having the bottle to step up, but if you aren't good enough technically then it's not enough.

AKU SAMBUT BABY LAHIR DALAM TAXI!
Setelah 3 tahun x buat benda tu..but its always fresh on my mind..

Sebuah Taxi datang dengan Melulu laju dengan lampu kecemasan.
Kebetulan aku ditugaskan di kaunter kecemasan..
Pemandu tu keluar dari taxi dan menjerit2 untuk meminta tolong (sebijik macam ayam nk bertelur) hehhe..
aku ckp dkt dia.. "u just relax, ur scream will not help me.. and will make situation worse"

bukak pintu taxi, Si ibu sedang baring disisi suaminya.. dengan kepala anak dah terkeluar.. (ganas tak?)
Indonesian couple..

aku segera mengarahkan partner aku minta bantuan dari org dalam..
bantuan lambat sampai..

aku dapat merasakan baby tu akan lemas kalau x di tarik keluar.. (nak lagi ganas??)

tali pusat dipotong.. dan baby dan ibu selamat dikeluarkan dari taxi dan di bawa masuk utk rawatan susulan
(disaksikan oleh orang ramai, free show...) selamba aje depa tengok pompuan tu punya.. ishk2..

Orang ramai ucapkan tahniah kepada aku.. tapi ia lebih wajar diberikan kepada pasangan ibu bapa itu..
aku sangat2 bersyukur kerana baby dan ibu selamat melahirkan dan bertambahlah lagi zuriat orang islam.

so, sape lepas ni nk aku sambut kelahiran dia? hehhe..

Part Time to Indonesia ;)

sending ill patient tru air plane will be the sweetest thing on my mind!!
a good friend of mine, Dr. Farhat (anaest. Specialist) offered me to join him to transfer
one ill patient who had fall from height has been in hospital for the past 3 months

not very good condition eh? hmm..

Day 1:
12pm reach KLIA, and directly to cargo. (masuk ikut kargo.. trus sampai pesawat!)
since involving the ambassador + agency. we have to meet em' 1st. and the best experience,
naik Garuda Indonesia =) *cewek2 pramugarinya.. aduhh.... ;) x abis2 dgn ada 'apa2 yg boleh
dibantu pak Dokter'? comel x??? hehhehe..
flight around 2.30pm

Smpai2, trus masuk.. tengok mcm mana dia pasang stretcher utk patient nk baring.
slalu, naik flight dah kemas2 + cantik2 aite? ni.. depa tgk dok kemas2 lagi.. isi makanan, etc
pramugari pun tgh kemas2 dapo ;) semementara tunggu dia pasang stretcher, mcm2 aku mintak
dkt pramugari dia.. es' jeruk (fresh orange) etc.. hehhe.. 1 hr 45mins sampai Sokarno Hatta
(jakarta airport) 1 hour back from KL. reach around 4pm (local time)

then, we transit to another flight via ambulance straight Semarang to which in central java,
40minutes on board. (alhamdullillah patient was well and x buat perangai) around 6pm
(gelap dia, mcm dah 8pm KL!!)

As we arrived, 1 ambulance waiting for the patient- to transfer the patient to Home.
Tired to da max! directly to our hotel (all provided by the agency) best x? duit 1 sen pun
x pakai!! dgn VVip Treatment.. mmg lovely ;)

Day 2:
bermula la aku belanja duit 1 juta Dpt cenderamata from the agency and flight back to Jakarta
kalau di ikutkan, plan agency nk hantar terus balik KL.. but we, decided to spend a night at jakarta
Farhat bnyk kwn dkt sini.. so senang sket la.. tido dkt La' meriddien (spelling check pls)
aku betul2 ngantuk dah ni.. Security hotel dia strict betul!! ye la indon kan penah kena bomb!

keluar shopping!! farhat gila local food and reebok! abis dia blasah duit shopping..
i pulak sebok nk beli local stuff! blasah sampai nak abis duit!! TAPI, 1 BENDA JE AKU BENCI DKT SINI
TRAFFIC JAM DIA ADUHHH... 10 KALI GANDA DARI KL!!! xda LRT,KOmuter,Star, etc!! cuma bus + taxi!!
sampai 50 ribu = rm20 aku habis dkt taxi!! jalan2 dkt historical place dia like Monas (monument nasional)
and more.. naik 'Bajet' = tuk tuk (moto roda 3 mcm dkt thai tuu..) murah dan best!! celah2..
xdpt bayang kalau rempit malaysia bawak!! hehhehe..

as usual, 6pm dah start gelap! (Boring gila) smua kedai pun dh nk tutup! KL at least 9pm aite?
hmm...dgn penat2 + shopping bag yg besar tu.. terus belajalan2 lagi.. smpi lewat mlm.

Day 3:
bangun seawal 6.30am (terang mcm 8am) hehhe.. breakfast, check out and cab to airport.
flight 11am tapi 7am dh kluar hotel.. x dpt bayang kalau kuar kul 9pm!! mesti sangkut dkt traffic jam!
hehhe... nangis la kawin dgn orang indon!! ;'(

beli sikit2 dkt tax free shop, jakarta.. 30 minutes sbl flight bru smpi (amaran, dkt indon aje bleh wat mcm tu)
hehhe..
Flight back to KL and reach KLIA around 2pm.
bag besar2 dgn medical emergency equipment, my cenderamata etc.. hehhe..

harap2 ada la lagi peluang part time mcm ni.. anyway, thanx to Garuda Indonesia, the ill patient's agency and embassy of indonesia

To Entertain the runner after tired 5.5km run from 8am till late..
